心很痛，但又能和谁诉苦？

Happy Birthday!!!

I just realized, that never once have I celebrated your birthday with you on the day itself since the past 4 years I've known you; in fact, these past 2 years, we've both been in different countries on the day of your birthday. . this day last year I was in UK and you were still in Msia, now it's vice versa. So, we must set a goal, one day we must celebrate your birthday together okay! In the same place, on this day, I don't care how old we both are at that time. . . But whenever that is, I hope we're still as close as we are now. :)

I don't know if I've ever told you how much I appreciate our friendship. Sure, we've had some misunderstandings/disagreements before (tell me which friendship hasn't?) but the good times far outnumber the bad times. I'm gonna write this down here so that I can remember always why this girl (still girl, or you want to be called woman? Somehow I can imagine Pei Ying's voice calling you that... lol) is so special to me. Haha. Because she is the 

- only one who reminds me of my mom (in a good way, because both of you always make me see sense when I'm being irrational :p)
- only one who find me the most often in my room when we were staying together, and have seen most of my worst times as well. . . but still comfort me anyway

- only one who still kinda skype me everyday the last year I wasn't staying together with you all, and keep me company during assignments/studying for exams . .even when there was a bee attack in the room! Omg I can never forget this (okay, actually I did, I only remembered when I viewed back our FB friendship when looking for any decent pics of us). But still it was so funny!! A huge bee invaded my room, and okay I panicked, so I skype-call Choo Wei and keep asking her what I should do. . When the bee started flying around, I just ran out of the room screaming, then came back and ask Choo Wei where she last saw the bee flying through my skype webcam. Oh and in the end, thanks to her brilliant suggestion, I vacuumed the bee (I know, I sound cruel, but in my defense the bee was really huge, as big as my palm, no exaggerations, and didn't seem to want to fly out of my room) y'see, this is proof our friendship transcends distance, lol.

- only one who seem to remember most of my likes and dislikes food-wise. Lol. Okay lah, maybe not the only one, Zi Fen and Amy too, because we stay together so long we kinda know each other's likes and dislikes. . =D

- one who gave me a new nickname called cheah kit -.- 

- the most non-petty friend I know who seems to be considerate enough to jaga most people's feelings and make them feel loved :) 

There is so much more I could write but I don't want to make such a lengthy post. Just know that you are special to me, and you seem to be a much better friend for me than I've been for you . . Anyway, have a good birthday (sorry I remind you that you're old..) and hope everything continues going smoothly for you in your life.

情不自禁

Mei Chen, have an awesome post-grad year studying for your Masters in Edinburgh =) 

I really miss the UK but this bunch of lovely ladies make me love being here so much as well that I don't wanna leave anymore. I guess apart from family, my surrounding friends are what will determine which place I love to stay the most. It's not the place that counts but the people.

P.S: I'm practicing my new no-teeth smile. Is it nicer? =p

We used to play with the burst shot mode, now it's the smile detector mode on Xin Wei's camera!! Nobody was available to be our cameraman, and nobody knew how to used the timer, so smile detector it is! The camera just automatically takes our pics whenever anybody smile. LOL. But ended up most if not all the pics, someone was blur. Haha.
