Convocation!

Finally, I am a Master of Pharmacy with merit degree-holder! All those exams in the past, starting from UPSR, PMR, SPM and SAM has finally meant something - towards achieving a university degree. Where to next? Only God knows. :)
Somehow, after convocation today, after treasuring all the bittersweet moments of graduating together with good friends I've made these 4 years and knowing that we have to part, I just can't wait to go back home now. Back to warmer weather. Yay! (seriously, this is the suckiest summer ever in Glasgow; not that I've experienced that many summers here, only the second time, but oh how I miss last year's summer weather! It's still around the 15s degrees here, and there is no heating to switch on in the hotel, ugh, it practically still feels like late winter/early spring)
Family family family time. I miss them, I really do, and knowing that I still have quite a lot of time to spend with them makes me feel safe. Parents, as I grow older, so would they. Sigh. I don't want to grow old because I don't want to see them grow older as well. Can't time just stand still for now? At least I know that for the next couple of years I will probably be in the same country as them.
And finally, to my friends in Malaysia, I know I've neglected you guys quite a bit, please forgive me? (Btw if any of you are wondering, my MSN activity now is practically non-existent and I only ever use Skype, so...any mode of online communication I do is usually through Skype now, hehe, not that I don't want to keep in touch but MSN is laggy and frankly doesn't interest me anymore) Can't wait to hang out with you guys again!! But please no jungle activities, they scare me :(
:)

P.S: last week i said that a certain post was to be my last, i lied...hey, who knew the hotel has wifi? or that i could use the giffgaff sim as a hotspot? anyway writing and pouring out my feelings is therapeutic :) and somehow i doubt that work can be this much interesting to write anymore as "moments that count" . . . so better write more about any interesting things now

P.P.S: what has university taught me? to sum it up, i guess that i can say i have much more confidence in myself, learnt more about people and life, mature a bit more and (hopefully) also manage my feelings better? hah, in any case i don't regret anything i said or did because i never expected anything more, i just know that it's nice to feel loved :) and i just want you to know that.
P.P.P.S: everyone has different paths to follow. i should remember that and not compare myself to anybody; just follow my heart and let fate decide the rest.

memories

i miss home, but i wonder which has been "home" for so long. i suppose home is where the heart is, but where is my heart?

waiting for the 0539 train at Euston now reminds me of the previous time i have been here. 6 months! how fast time flies. memories everywhere. memories i miss. but its the company that counts the most though! being kicked out of the station, running to king cross station in the wind and rain whilst another umbrella is ruined..this time i get to leisurely wait with my family though but it isn't half as exciting, lol.

i won't forget the memories and feelings i felt but i must be positive! time to go back and make some new ones :)

just give me one last trip down memory lane in Glasgow these few days!

p.s: i miss you very much

writing in the dark

sigh, i hate this feeling, the feeling that i am stupid, irrational, and that i haven't changed at all for the better in matters of the heart. 9 years ago i fret and worry over the changes my moving away would bring me, 9 years later i am still the same old dumb dumb kitty cat who dreads such changes. why can't i stop being so stubborn?

i still remember those letters. and you.

I really really love flowers :)

生活就是将啦,一时任性可改变一切。变化是好是坏,只有时间能作证。我相信是好的,因为我可无悔地继续走呀,不必想“如果”,不必隐瞒,反正我已经没什么好失去的,因为离别是新故事的开始。

Emo musings and reflections aside, I really enjoyed my past few days in London so far! I know I won't have time to update anymore after this, so this post might likely be my last that I will write in UK before I go back. Truth be told, I've fallen in love with this country, the weather (when it's not too cold, but to be honest the last winter wasn't that bad), the people and culture (I'm not afraid to travel anywhere by myself, but sadly, I wouldn't dare to do that in my home country), the quaint old architecture, English as the main language of communication! - that I'm really reluctant to go back. U.K has always been my dream country to study in (SAM was not really my first choice because usually that path leads to Australia) but who knew I could come to UK through a twinning programme. And I really thank my parents for giving me this opportunity to come here to study. For now, I shall go back, but rest assured, one way or another, I will come back! I hope. Or maybe my fortunes shall lead me elsewhere, who knows, but whatever happens, I'll make the best of it!

Picture-time! I explored Hyde Park the last Sunday, a lavender field in Epsom and went to the Royal Ascot today! Camwhored so much because there was so much time to spare since there's no tight travelling schedule.
Somehow reminds me of Versaille!
Speakers Corner! Where people can come every Sunday to speak about everything under the sun. Course the most common topics were religion and politics...but there were racism campaigns too.

mwahh!

Rose-covered archway!

Rows and rows of pretty lavender!
Why do I have a daisy in my hair? The following pictures will reveal...
Big fat daisies in the wild!!! So awesome! I only like daisies because of...I know I have to let go but I guess I'll just hold on a little bit longer :)
Just let be me happy a little longer can?

Royal Ascot! One week of horse-racing at Ascot where Queen Elizabeth will attend everyday; and omg the fashion there, so posh! Really a little insight into British culture

Fancy hats! But what I love most are the guys costumes, in tophats and coattails! Too bad most of them are in the Royal Enclosure, I was only at the cheapest enclosure, the Silver Ring.
The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh!!
Everyone dress so posh but I didn't :( Do you know how expensive those fascinators are? I only wore sunglasses, ahaha.
my favourite number is winning!! Num 3 :D Apparently the horse, Frankel, is also the world's best racehorse atm

I'm just trying to enjoy every moment of my holidays before I enter working life, huhu T.T
So please just let me be happy a little longer?

unexplainable feelings...

Less than a month till convocation day, and till I step on Malaysian land. Time really flies. Especially since after the last paper, it seems that there's something to do every week! Going out with friend's friend, moving out, then the graduation ball, and my upcoming trip to London! I always love going to London =) and am thankful that I have such a good friend to jaga me there. Then mommy and daddy and sister coming soon! Can't wait.

But on the other hand, the feeling of having to leave a routine of 2 years (maybe more like 1.5 years) is kinda unbearable. 非常不舍得。Tonight is my last night staying on the university campus with friends, and reflecting back on the time I have spent here, the only reason why I felt that time flew by was because these times were good times. Not because of the novelty of being in a foreign land and getting to travel and see new places (although these are good times too), but because of the friendships and bonds that were strengthened. The things we did, the things we laughed about, the things we cry over and talk about... Maybe I wouldn't feel as sad if we were all going back together, but some are staying on here to work, and probably they're the ones I won't get to see so often anymore, and that's what make it sad.

I count myself really lucky to have known people like my friends here, we can click together so well and bond together. Perhaps I have some doubts the past year but they're all eventually cleared up, and I'm happy. Although we didn't get to stay together the past year but in hindsight, it wasn't all bad. I always knew that our time together was limited though (say until so dramatic until like wanna die -.-) so I made sure to spend as much time as I possibly could with everyone, but eventually the day we have to part will come. . .
High tea together!

Grad ball, miss LY though
my favourite picture, who knew the F10 girls could only reunite for a brief time last week?

P.S: Pictures are not mine, all credits to others
P.P.S: 向前走吧!
